Terms and Conditions

1. Obligations and Warranties

  1. Information supplied by you: You warrant that the information provided (e.g., Date, Address, Contact Number) is correct.
  2. Owner or authorised agent: You confirm ownership or authority to act on behalf of the owner of the goods.
  3. Presence at loading/unloading: You or a representative must be present during the entire move. Damage claims will not be entertained if unattended.
  4. Fragile goods: You must inform us about any fragile items and handling precautions prior to the move.
  5. Goods left behind or moved in error: You are responsible to ensure nothing is left or moved mistakenly.
  6. Mode of carriage: We may choose a reasonable route and method for transporting goods.
  7. Awkward Access: Access issues must be disclosed at booking. We are not liable for structural modifications.
  8. Delivery: We deliver to you or your authorised person only. Undeliverable goods may be warehoused at your cost.

2. Charges and Payments

  1. Delays: We are not liable for delays beyond our control.
  2. Cancellations or alterations: Cancellation within 7 days results in forfeiture of the booking deposit.
  3. Lien on goods: Goods may be held until full payment is received.
  4. Payment Terms: Payment due upon job completion. Late payments incur daily admin fees. Unpaid bills will be sent to debt collectors.
  5. Parking infringements: You are liable for parking fines or extra time if parking is relocated.
  6. Tolls: You are responsible unless a no-toll request is submitted in writing.
  7. Right to Subcontract: Subcontractors may be used and the same terms apply.

3. Exclusions & Responsibilities

  1. Damages: We are not liable for:
    • Inadequate packing by you
    • Inherently delicate goods
    • Non-standard requests conflicting with best practices
    • Unseen defects or pre-wrapped items
    • Internal damage with no external cause
    • Cosmetic damages
    • Damage not caused by us
    • Fire/flood/collision incidents beyond our control
    • Set or suite damage is only compensated proportionally
  2. Client's Liability: You must prepare all goods and obtain any necessary permits or approvals in advance.
  3. Excluded From Standard Services: Special tools or reinstallation of fixtures is your responsibility.
  4. Restricted Goods: We do not transport:
    • Hazardous, flammable, perishable goods
    • Pets
    • Valuables or sensitive items (e.g. cash, documents, electronics)

4. Notification of Damages

  1. Damage must be reported before job completion. Late claims are not accepted.
  2. We may choose to compensate instead of repairing the item.

5. Termination

  1. We reserve the right to deny or cancel the service for safety, non-cooperation, or payment concerns.

6. Subject to Change

We may amend these terms without prior notice.

7. Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
